"I paint to be accomplished. I don’t want to waste my talents.”
Eddie Fitch paints to relieve stress and stay calm. He says, “I like to control something. It makes me feel relaxed.” With so many of his circumstances out of his control, painting offers Eddie the perfect outlet. He creates his work at Common Art, an art program in Boston that provides space, community, and art materials to individuals who are living with homelessness and / or live at a low-income level.
Eddie wants to sell his work through ArtLifting to make money and be part of a community.
