“Art is a place for the conscious and unconscious parts of myself to communicate and express through the creative experience, and an opportunity to process and portray these experiences onto the canvas.”

Christina says, “Perhaps the most important layer, is the story I have about myself that formed from one or more experiences. I spend a lot of time thinking about what "makes me tick,” so to speak, both on the conscious and unconscious level and all of that “which makes me tick” directly impacts and influences the everyday choices from the mundane to the seemingly more profound. So as I create, all of this is interplaying in my mind, my heart, my body, and is then portrayed through poetic language and/or images on the canvas.”read more
