Unease

"Unease is an acrylic collage work on canvas with paint pens marking the figure. The Morse code featured prominently on the left means UNEASE. The collage work in the background is recycled paper from the MassHealth information handbook. As a woman with hidden disabilities, it is difficult to ask for what you need as a disabled person. You may need mental health services, which for many has a stigma. You may have arthritis, which affects your mobility. For the general public if you don't look sick you aren't sick. That's where she is- in a state of unease."
