Amber and Ice #9

"“Amber and Ice” explores the idea of re-finding oneself when all you’ve known has changed. Shattered stained glass represents the struggles presented by life. Light represents discovery and healing. The challenge to move on despite pain or opposition. Macro photography represents further exploration of things that are sometimes unseen. Aaron’s art invites the viewer to dive deeper. There is more to life than what is seen on the surface. Fractured parts and distortion create a constant motion on an otherwise static surface. Once rearranged, discarded pieces offer new forms. Light illuminates the dark and broken places within us all, creating opportunities for healing."
