"Navigating Across Thresholds represents an urban street with mixed use structures. This piece contains many of the themes, shapes, colors, and processes often found in much of my work. There's a theme of "place," the presence of blocky shapes, a neutral background with various areas of blue with bursts or accents of orange. Processes often include repetitions, connections, disconnections, impasto and stenciling as well as mark making are used to create a sense of place and mood."
